Resident artist and producer of Bluestocking Lounge, Lilly Laudanum is a burlesque artiste whose playful parodies and gory stories are anything but routine. Her titillating tonic combines the historical humour of Carry On films, camp horror of Hammer, a pinch of Victoriana and the flamboyance of Dame Barbara Cartland.
Dubbed 'Lilly Of The Valleys', Lilly regularly performs across the UK with her comical characterisations that - in some cases - bring the dead back to life! Performing for 20+ years (the last few in burlesque), Lilly has fronted many bands, been a character model and actress and even enjoyed a four-year stint at The London Dungeon, where she performed and ran the actors company. As she always says, “you can take the girl out of the Dungeon, but you can’t take the Dungeon out of the girl”, some of that camp horror can be found in her routines. Lilly is also a professional costumier, a trained belly dancer and runs burlesque workshops.
